I have been with AT&T for years and have always complimented and said the main reason I stay with them is because of the great customer service. NOT ANYMORE. I had to make payment arrangments for July 2014. Called on 7/5/14 (Holiday Weekend) on the phone for over 45 minutes talking to a male rep. Made arrangemtns to make a payment on 7/8 and 7/22. Have 4 lines 2 belong to older kids and payments are made from out of state. Told AT&T Rep that $150.00 would be paid on 7/8 and another payment would come in before the 22nd and the total balance due would be paid by 7/22. Payment of $150 was paid as promised on 7/8 and on 7/10 are phones were turned off. And of course on 7/12 I had a job interview. Cant win sometimes. Called AT&T spoke to 3 different people all of whom said they were supervisors(REALLY). Refused to do anything until now I pay the entire past due before the 22nd. Why did I bother to make payment arrangements????? One of the out of state kids tried to make their payment on the 11th as they had said they would & they couldnt do that with out driving to a store. Tried on line and computer would only let them make a full payment not what their share of bill was. And exacty as I had told the Rep I spoke with on 7/5 additional payment would be made before hte 22nd. Needless to say phones are all turned off. SO WHY MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGMENTS????Have been with AT&T for over 10 years........YOU use to care about your customers that had hung in there with you BUT NOT ANYMORE...................
