My bill isnt due til the tenth, and i want to know if this is normal, makes me very nervous. I added a 2nd phone number to my 15-gig family share plan in May, with a phone i already had, not even bought from ATNT. I have two functioning phones on the plan now. Now they added the whole $40 per month for 'another' contract phone, and then 'waive' $25 of the charge for that line. (it actually adds $25 not $15 to my bill, so ok, taxes n surcharges n such), so does this mean i now have two phones on contract instead of one? Even though i only ever bought one phone on contract? I havent pushed it yet because i got that $100 off for adding a line. Very nice! But why not just charge me $15 per month for the added 'bring my own phone' instead of treating it like another discounted contract phone? Am i in for a nasty surprise later? I know its not a mistake because i already asked why they did that and they told me thats what they do. I do have a wifi device on the plan that i also bought with cash at ATnT, not added to my contract. Not that this should matter, just to pre_answer any questions about my plan. I got that $25 per month contract discount on my existing phone which was offered in february for plans already in existence prior to a certain date, so my contract runs til july 2015. I will call ATNT if you tell me this isnt normal and correct procedure.
