No circumstance dire enough for AT&T to accept payment arrangement?

As an ATT wireless customer for better than 10 years, I expect a liitle loyalty... I have a terminal illness. For me to get chemo and other drugs to stay alive, I have to come up with cash. This sometimes requires me to reallocate my funds... ATT was the victim last month. I only get my disability benefits once a month. ATT turned off my phone, I explained that it was my lifeline to my care providers and asked if I could pay half now and half in a week, when I get my check... Absolutely not!!! In Jan ATTs execs decided to take all negotiating ability from managers. I have to have a phone, I explained, nothing we can do is the reply... I am having my daughter (who's line is on our family plan & contract is up) sign up with a new provider, and add a line for me... Nothing else I can do. ATT loses 2 more customers, and probably a bunch more from my support group... But hey, they can afford it!
