I have a lot of problems with billing. I have a total of 8 lines under my account. Each month, there are charges posted on one or two of my lines that I dispute and it takes me a lot of time with customer service to prove my point. The first response is " Sir, these charges are valid". After a lot of explaining, I show the customer service agent that the charges, especially roaming in Canada, should not have been charged. Today, June 15, 2016, I spent over an hour with 3 different agents being passed from one to the other, explaining that 64329 KB is way less than 1GB that I have on my plan. Finally, the third agent understood my point and refunded the charges.
It seems to me that At&T bills customers just to get extra money that might go unnoticed. This is really unethical. I am docuemting all my issues and am considering reporting this to the BBB. Today the first agent was so rude that I asked her to transfer me to someone else. The second agent Karren, was so incompetent that she could not understand the difference between KB & GB and the corelation. Finally the third agent, Melissa, solved my issue. I do hope AT&T invests some time in teaching the CSRs some basic arithmetic.
When will my billing issues end?
