Hello - AT&T recently charged us $695.00(
Telesales CPE Chargebacks) because the last owner of the used phone I bought might have commited a fraud charge. This charge does not make any sense to me. It's just pure craziness. The fraud was commited by another person and now I get penalized with a $695.00 charge?
Well this is our hard earned money and I'm not giving this up easily even if my wife and I are stressed out over this. I already spent hours on the phone with customer service. I have a case opened with AT&T customer service but it has been a week and they are still working on the case. I'm currently researching to see if I can take any legal actions against AT&T to put an end to this practice if ATT&T does not give me a refund. I'm also looking for other Telesales CPE Chargebacks victims to see if we can build a case together. This is just an unfair practice from AT&T especially I have been a loyal customer for almost a decade.
