Hi,
I'm currently a family plan member with a contract iphone 5s signed last November. I want to transfer from my current family plan to another, which also belongs to At&t. Below are two questions I got:
1. Since I bought a contract phone, is there any possible way for me to transfer the number without terminating my contract? Because I will still be staying with At&t.
2. How about my $500 deposit? I handed in a $500 deposit when I signed my contract last year. The consultant at the store told me that I would get my full refund over a year. However, I'm going to have another family plan soon after I transfer my plan. So if I am supposed to pay the termination fee anyway, can At&t deduct the termination fee from my $500 deposit and refund me the leftover?
