I was convinced by your rep to switch to auto-refill, which I did. I know that the plan renews every 30 days (not a problem). I noticed this morning that my bank account is in the negative, because ATT charged for April's use. I called and complained that not only did I only have $5 in my account at the time, but now I'm forced to pay a $35 overdraft fee. The first rep informed me that the charge for the monthly plan is made two days before the plan renewal date, the second rep informed me that the charge is made ONE day before the renewal date, and the third person who supposedly is the payment supervisor, informed me that the charge is made two days prior to the renewal date. I was NEVER informed of this. After about 20 minutes of arguing with three different people on the same call, I requested that the charge be reversed, and my cell phone service with ATT be disconnected, as this practice of 'surprising' customers with the charges ahead of time is not acceptable. The payment supervisor stated that she can disconnect the service, but because the month of April was already charged, the money that was 'stolen' from my account cannot be returned. The online account states that my renewal date is March 31, for April service. It is March 29. This is a joke! I have three phones with ATT, and because of this, I have decided to find another cello phone service that will keep me happy and satisfied with the service.I may have to pay a few dollars more per month, but at least I won't be treated like a fool. It's a shame because when I was under Cingular Wireless, I had great service. ATT stepped in, and ruined everything! The
