I am currently waiting on hold for an escallation to a supervisor. My wireless portion of my account was terminated. I have no issues paying the ETFs or any service I received. I do not, however, think I should be paying the compounded "fees" such as Federal Universal Service Charges, Utility surcharges, etc. on the FEES for ETF on these lines since there was no actual service to warrant these Federal or other surcharges. I spent 30+ minutes talking to 3 different people on the phone and nothing was resolved. This all stems from my services being changed a few months ago, when I added a home phone line to my house. At that time my total billing cycle was changed, without my approval.
I have no issue paying the ETF or other charges that I do owe, but I do have issues paying the extra surcharges and such on the fees. I'd just like the additional $78+ ammended to not include to ETFs. I would be willing to pay the full ETF and correct charges TODAY. If we cannot resolve these minimal charges I will let this go to collections, which I will end up settling for 1/2 in collections, which causes headaches for everyone and less revenue for AT&T. Can someone please ammend thee charges? Thank you, Jeff
