ATT Customer Service is an oxymoron!

I have been with ATT for a long time and recently upgraded to a smart phone/data plan.  I went into the local ATT store to get an iphone where I was immediately talked out of and sold on an the latest and greatest LG G2.  Great features ect but the durability is lousy.  The phone lasted a week before I broke the screen beyond repair.  Nobody's fault but my own for breaking it, nothing to dispute here.  The rub happened when the additional $200 deductable hit the following month.  Monthly budget is pretty tight but we planned for it.  Unfortunately another another unforeseen hit on the ol' budget occured and we were only able to pay the standard monthly charges (which we did) and resolved ourselves to pay the deductible before the end of the month.  Well service was suspended and again I fully accept that consequence, we were past due.  I just paid the past due amount and my rub is with the addition reconnection fee and the fact that customer service and customer service management claim there is nothing that can be done about it.  I've been with ATT for a long time, never had service suspended before, yet none of that matters to ATT.  I could understand the additional fee if I was constantly behind and getting suspended and reconnected multiple times.  So ATT instead of reinforcing the reasons why I am an ATT customer, you jumped on an opportunity to kick me while I'm down.  Enjoy the additional $40 you milked out of me... cause I'm gone and I'm not coming back... I'm sure you know what it costs on average to gain a single new customer b/c I bet it's way more than a measly $40.
