I've been out of the US for over 6 months and suspended my service for this duration. I'm still out of the country and my bill went back to over $100 a month even though I am not using this service. I was forced into canceling as I a) don;tfeel I shouldhave to pay for a service I am not using and b) currently not earning an income to cover this overhead. I had been ultimately just paying the minimal cost to keep my phone number. Is there anyone or anyway someone can assist in resolving this with me? I've been with AT&T for several years and felt like there was noone or no options to support me in finding an alternative way forward. I was also unaware that the suspension had ended as I did not receive a message giving me a change of plan warning. Now I'm stuck with a bill for an un-used service, have lost my phone number and will have my credit tainted. Would appreciate any assistance to resolve this as I'm feeling really unvalued as a customer.
