I attempted to use the ATT Chat option on Friday. Both occasions I continued to work on my computer waiting for the representative to answer my question but the chat closed. I was asking about a payment that I had scheduled to make which showed "scheduled" in the billing screen. I asked that ATT customer service verify if the scheduled payment had a payment method linked to it because I could make two payments. When I contacted ATT today they said the representative called and left a voice mail, we have 3 lines and none of them have a voice mail from ATT. In addition the "scheduled payment" was not actually scheduled.
I am a 16 year customer of ATT, yet the manager I talked with refused to help me with this situation. I suggest ATT evaluate the systems it has in place and remove them as an option if they are unable to fix the issues. I will be looking for a new cell phone provider within the next 30 days as ATT has grown to a point they do not value long time customers.
