I switched one of our phones to T-Mobile. AT&T charge me a $175 early termination fee because the phone was in the middle of a contract. But, on the billing statement they indicated that the $175 was a one-time charge for a different phone we still have on the plan. T-Mobile will not reimbures the fee because it does not say early termination fee and it does not have the correct phone number. I spent two hours on the phone with AT&T trying to get the correct information in writing and they refused. Any ideas on how to get AT&T to put the correct information in writing? It appears they are in colusion with T-Mobile so I will not get a reimbursement of the early termination fee. Anyone else have a similar experience?
