AT&T Refuses to Refund after Improper Billing

We've noticed on a recent bill that AT&T has been improperly billing us for device insurance and support.  When brought to the attention of customer support, who acknowledge the error was with AT&T personnel, they tell us that they can't refund all the monies that AT&T improperly billed us for.

 

Why does AT&T jeopardize our good faith and trust, our continued patronage ...by refusing to refund all the monies they improperly billed us for?  If this is a common practice with AT&T perhaps other customers would like to discuss the issue.
