I have yeses the same debit card (issued by Social Security Disibility) since purchasing this phone & phone contract thru a AT&T store in Sept 2014. I have had my account set up paperless using the AT&T app. Now AT&T is saying that this is a "gift card " and I can't use the billing system. Don't know why after over 12 months that there would be a problem. The customer service representative suggested I buy a prepaid debit card monthly to make my payment. This is my only form of paying my bills, have had this card for years, it's recommend by SSDI. This is discrimination against the disabled by AT&T, no other utility company or merchant has put me thru this hassle. Very unhappy & will continue to investigate. I had already sent 30 minutes on hold just to find out the above information.
