Hi,
I just got out of a call with One Manager named Diego.
I have a billing cycle of Nov 29 till Dec 28. I generally get a bill of 200$ per month and have been a customer of AT&T for over 2 years.
I cancelled my service with AT&T on Dec 18th, 10 days ahead of completing billing cycle.
I received a bill to pay $9. I was surprised as i was expecting a refund for the service i did not use.
But the rep and the manager kept insisting that the best they can do is waive off $9. I was told that "You should have waited till the billing cycle is over to cancel. AT&T does not prorate and YOU HAVE TO PAY EVEN IF YOU DONT USE OUR SERVICE".
So, if I cancel the service, i have to pay the service charges (data and line access) for extra 10 days??
Regards,
Sree
