My son returned a phone to AT&T and after mailing it his phone was shut off. When we called they said the phone was reported stolen. AT&T had it reported stolen because they did not recieve the phone. They had the tracking No. but still they shut off his phone. His phone was off for 3 days until they repaired his line after they finally recieved the phone. But after putting him through all this they never even offered to help him with his bill after they are the ones who messed up.Mind you now, this was the forth replacement phone(samsung 6) . Now they sent him another phone and the same thing happened. When he got the new phone, he went to use the new sim card and the new phone was black listen again, , we called again, they said because they never recieved the old phone. How the do you recieve something that wasn't sent out yet. He just got the new one and the same day before he had a chance to send the bad one back they decided to block the new one from being used. When we called they said, "oh, it was reported stolen because we didn't get the old one yet" DUH!!!!!!!!!!!.
I tried to be nice , talk nice but wow, they know how to get under your skin. Now it's my turn, I know you are reading this AT&T so try and get this , read your on customer agreement forms because now because of this I am going to try section 2.2 - Arbitration Agreement Form. You have left me no choice. Thank You for nothing but headaches.
