Stay away, ATT is a snake in the grass company.
I started service in 2009, and canceled a few months later because they refused to correct their mistakes, raised my rate, and changed the discounting of my bill. When I requested to be let out of my contract, within the 30 day period, I was told no (even though I was within my right to do so). I went to verizon, and contested my contract with ATT. Went all the way to some VP and they try to say I still owe the ETF for 3 smart phones, even though their own contract says if I contest the rate increase within 30 days I can opt out.
Heres the kicker.......... Not only did ATT report a $1,400 balance on my credit, CINGULAR WIRELESS did as well.......... for a LARGER amount!!! I have NEVER had cingular wireless (before they were ATT) and further more BOTH charges were done at the same time with the same account number!
Snakes, your company employees are nothing but snakes.
Stay away from ATT, they do NOT care about their customers, and will not address your issues. When you complain they act like they will look into it, and then tell you tough luck. When you refuse to pay for something you shouldnt owe they send the sharks after you.
Keep goin ATT, your Motto should be DENY DENY DENY. You cant even abide by your own contract.
I will be telling EVERYONE I know and work with to stay away from this company.
