Att and assurion insurance

I've been a customer of att for 3 years. Over 6 months ago I lost my phone and ordered a new one thru assurion. I found my phone the next day so I called to say I didn't need the phone. They told me I could return the phone at an att store and they would credit my account the $125. I went to the store the very next day and was told they couldn't take the phone since it was thru assurion. I called assurion right then and they proceeded to tell me that there was a return postage inside the box and to mail it. As soon as they received the phone that they would issue a credit for $125. The next month I noticed I had a charge of $125 on my bill. So I called art they couldn't help so I called assurion. First they would not issue the credit until I spoke to a supervisor and was told that it would take 2-3 billing cycles for the credit to my bill. Art put that charge as pending so I wouldn't accrue late fees or have my service interrupted. And guess what I woke up yesterday after just paying my bill to having no service. So again I had to call AT&T and assurion on a conference call to straighten out their mistakes not mine. 40 minutes later and a total of 7 different phone calls everything is straightened out. I asked how I make a complaint and the csr for art said to hold while she got a manager instead I got hung up on. I can not stress enough that I can not wait till the day my contract is up so I do not ever have to deal with AT&T undesirable customer service and inadequate performance on every level. I will never recommend anyone going to AT&T for anything. Unless you appreciate doing free work and the job of their employees without getting compensated for it except for losing your time and gaining a headache.
