I've been with att many years. I had a business account. The rep told me in April that I could get a 25 percent total FAN discount if I switched the phones to personal. I did. I also upgraded because the lines would now be far less expensive. The first bill was wrong. They gave me a $75credit and assured me that it would all work out . The next 4 bill amounts looked ok, So, didn't investigate. 6 months later, the bill goes up $70 and they tell me they just got the bill right. Now, I pay more than I was originally paying, I'm no longer a business class customer and I'm under contract again and after literally 3 hours of conversation, they offered to knock $20 off the bill instead of letting me out of the clearly documented misrepresented contract. The other option would have been to simply honor the contract. No other company in the US can do this, however cell phone companies seem to get away with it.
