Customer service

Last November, ( yes, it's been almost a year that I have been trying to get someone to help), I went into a Mesa, AZ., AT&T store to upgrade my daughters iPhone. The salesman told me I would save $20.00 a month if I switched plans.  I refused because we have had the family plan with 5 phones since AT&T started family plans.  We had unlimited data that was grandfathered in as long as we kept the plan.  He told us they had this "new" plan that was going to give me all the data we had been using plus it would be $20.00 less each month.  When I still refused, he brought his "manager" over who stated that we would save $20.00 a month plus get an additional discount every year that we kept this "new" plan.  I finally agreed.  As soon as I received my statement I called customer service, since the bill was $50.00 more. Every month since, it has been $50.00 more than my old plan!  Obviously, the AT&T employees lied to get me to switch from my old plan to a higher priced plan.  Every month I call customer service and get that they are sorry, but this is the best they can do.

I want the $50.00 per month increase for the last year refunded and the $20.00 per month savings I was promised.   Since I have been trying unsuccessfully for almost a year, I'm not going to hold my breath to a satisfactory resolution .  My only option will be to switch to Verizon, a more reputable company I hope.  AT&T might have made an extra $50.00 a month from me for a year but they will lose a long time customer from their dishonest practices .
