Bill increase when upgrading to new phones

WE have been AT&T customers all of our lives starting with a landline, our old bag phones and have scheduled an appointment to have AT&T digital life installed with internet, home phone, and security.  After not being able to upgrade our iPhones on line yesterday, I went to the AT&T store in Spartanburg, SC to TRY to upgrade  two of our three 4S phones on our family share plan. Anyway, I left without upgrading because to do this would add to our monthly bill and I refuse to add anymore. I will now cancel my upcoming Digital Life appointment and our landline and go elsewhere.  Loyalty meeans nothing and the young man that waited on me at the store, Juan, was very condenscending to me.  I have NEVER had a bad experience in the store before and will not again.
