Yesterday, I got ATT 75% usage alert the first time in so many years. We did not do anything special, why it happens ? I went to the detail usage, and saw there are about 6 updates ( 6:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 12:00 PM, etc... ) in a day for the current billing cycle. It eats my 10 G data really fast. However, the previous billing records did not show these updates. So, what did ATT change recently ? I know, I can turn off some updates, however, the settings have not been changed for years. Either ATT or Apple/iPhone have something changed. Please disable these updates ASAP. This cheap trick for sure will generate revenue for ATT in a very unkind way.
