I AM AN ATT CUSTOMER AND HAVE BEEN MISTREATED HORRIBLY THE LAST MONTH. ATT SENDS AND SEND ME about adding another line to my phone evening offering me since i opened an account. Well i finally got online and was looking into it for christmas for my youngest. That is all he wanted Santa to bring him. So since he;s about to be 11 i figured why not. So i went on line order the phone he wanted and added another line. hit submit knowing well next month i would pay the connection fee but the phone was a 1cent. and thought that was it. WELL, Christmas EVE WAITING and waiting...so i called ATT said hello where is my phone... OH well they said i had mistyped my email, and since i did that i needed to call in and verify my account ...I needed to verify yes it was me so they pulled the three security questions from my credit report and i verified them right and that was when they said the phone would ship out i would have it by the 26th. So bummed had to RUN OUT and get the latest, of whatever 11 yr olds like. and explain his gift would be here on the 26th, and had to break the news there was no magical santa and it was mom the whole time. SO letting that all go with ATT, because it was my bad on the mistype email address. SO LEAVING THAT ALL ASIDE! Jan.2nd i get an automated call saying i needed to call att about a past due account. SO i CALLED they said i owe 500.00 ...HUH my bill was clear not balance last thing i knew...THey NOW SAID I OWED A DEPOSIT for the mini phone i got for my son. WAIT so we made a deal i pay one cent for the phone plus next month an activation fee plus the extra $30.00 a month for the line...DONE DEAL... and NOW a week later you want to approach me with a deposit fee... ISN'T that something that should have been said when i PLACE MY RDER...or how about APPROACH ME when you were holding the phone for me to answer the three secuirty questions that you got off my credit report... THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN A GOOD TIME TO SAY hey we are holding your phone because you need to pay a deposit FIRST! I have never PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN AFTER A TRANSACTION HAS BEEN DONE....?????how does that? Its like renting a hall, having the event and a week after the event the place calling me asking i put a DEPOSIT DOWN.... so i am in the process of disbuting that charge... and they have a open case its pending and ATT YESTERDAY DISCONNECTED ME for no reason ...I have nothing owed on my bill, but a fake deposit fee... AND AN ONGOING CASEOPEN... HOW CAN THEY DISCONNECT ME...THEY ARE MISTREATIGN THIS CUSTOMER RIGHT HERE! I GOT TO FIND OUT WHO I CAN VOICE THIS COMPLAINT TOO AND HOW I GET SOMEONE HIGH UP TO SEE THIS....???? HELP
