Unable to pay bills using check by phone method

I am very upset.
Attempted to pay my bill and my son's using check by phone method.
New smart guy didn't understand how to accept a check.
Kept switching me to a customer rep and an additional charge.
Four attempts were made.
Finally wrote a check and mailed.
Do sad.
Check by phone is a very easy comand.
This is a fast and easy way to pay your bill.
Due to identity theft I don't pay on line.
