I used my go phone for texting (approximately 24 short texts over 10 days), while on vacation in Wisconsin. During that time I also made about 6 short phone calls. I should be getting charged $1/day for activation + 10 cents/minute for calls, and 20 cents per text (for a total cost somewhere around $20). Instead, my costs for these texts and calls was about $75. I was on the phone with customer service last night for about an hour. I was finally assured that I would be reimbursed for these charges, but that I'd need to switch to a newer plan. I agreed. They changed my plan, but only put $20 credit to my account.
When I look at the record of charges I am being billed many, many times for the same text. I went to an actual AT&T store today but they said they cannot deal with billing problems. I don't know how to get these excessive charges refunded. This is ridiculous. Ready to switch companies.
