When being sold an upgrade, I was told an average bill price ($233). I was told my new plan would be $253 including an additional phone. Actual cost is $325. The comparison made was between what I was actually paying and a bill without fees and taxes added. So after being told several times my new bill would only be about $25 over my old one, I upgraded and added a phone. Now I find out that my new plan is actually $85 more per month than I was told at time of sale.
A VERY DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICE THAT I PLAN TO REPORT TO STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL, and post on YELP, TWITTER, FACEBOOK and where ever else I can find to inform people of the way ATT workers manipulate the costs to make it seem like a better deal than it is.
