I am a new Att customer and am quite upset with the customer service I've received. When I switched over from Verizon I purchased a Galaxy s6 via the next program, the store was out of stock so they had to order for me.
The phone was DOA. The touchscreen would not respond. Called att and they instructed me to send it back via the lable in the box. In the mean time I decided to use my nexus 6 which I had from Verizon, nexus 6 being CDMA and GSM. I was told that my ported number had be3n locked to the defective phone and that the only way they could switch it was to accelerate the payments and do a refund. I agreed to that.
A few weeks went by and I had still not gotten a refund, I had received a text saying they had received the defective device but that's it. I called and was told it was waiting to be credited back any day.
I called day after day and was told to just keep waiting. All the time getting texts about my account being passed due the price of the phone. I was told don't ignore them and wait for the credit. Finally my service was shut off at the worst possible time and I was forced to pay the full price of the phone to get it turn3d on. Now I'm out 685 and no one at customer support kno2s what to do. They keep promising me call backs but never call.
They confirm they received the phone but can't figure out why I was never refunded.
