I have been with ATT since 2009 when I purchased a $500.00 3GS iphone from them. Recently when some of my apps quit working I called ATT and was told the 3gs was too old & could not be updated anymore. They would sell me a new phone but my bill would go up another $10.00.
I'm a retired widow and could not afford another monthly increase.
My ATT bill has always been on auto pay and I've never had a problem until I canceled service with ATT. and went with a different service.
On May 21, 2015 I called ATT to cancel service with them. They still charged my credit card automaticaly on May 24th so I called them a second time and they did a (reversal) not a credit!! of that payment on May 27.
Now ATT is billing me for NON PAYMENT of that bill AND A LATE FEE in June. Remember monthly fees are billed in advance to begin with.
Buyer beware, If they can do this the elderly they will do it to anyone.
