Fees on my bill of a number that was never used

Hi,

I just checked my bill and noticed that it went up $200. I was extremely started and when I went to check the details I have fees of a number that was never used. I was trying to bring in a number to my contract and instead a new number was activated and the day after the number I was trying to bring into my contract was finally brought in. Why am I being charged for that number that was activated but never used?
