I swear I hate AT&T right now and I absolutely regret upgrading 3 phones last month! I am even considering canceling all 4 of my contracts because I rather not do business with such liars. I upgraded 3 phones on my account and 3 on my father's account last month. I was told at the time that I can get the activation fees waived if I called in to customer service. Well my father called in and was told that "they don't do that...we don't waive those fees." But he was then transferred to the manager and received his credit. Well I call and I get the same thing except I got "we did that at one time but not anymore...that's how we make our money back for selling your phones at a discounted price...you need to find that associate and take it up with them...sorry have a nice day." Why did I receive service? Why is this manager telling me that I'm basically paying so that they can make their money back? I can't respect the service I received today and at this point I will not recommend this cell phone company to another soul. It's sad that as an active duty soldier, I am being lied to just to make a sale. It should be known that AT&T does not support their troops, that they actually lie to us just to make a sale. They make us think we are getting a deal but we are actually just being deceived. It was an AT&T sales associate that made that promise to me and it should be AT&T to fulfill that promise. If that's not the case then they need to spend a lot more time training and educating these employees on correct procedure. I wonder what would happen if all the people in my profession didn't do their job. I am so disgusted right now and I feel really dumb for renewing my contract. NEVER AGAIN!
