Do I Have Any Recourse?

I recently was sold a new Mobile plan by when on the phone with AT&T U-Verse about billing question. I was assured and promised,(we also went through the numbers together) that this would save me $??.??.  My first bill was a bit higher but I figured that had to do with how they prorate bills. Guess what, three months later and my bill is $7.00 MORE than before. Not only is it more, but we now have LESS data (which I knew, just a point to why I wouldn't pay more for less!)  AND, I WAS NOT told I was know automatically enrolled in the new Now plan, which I do not like and have been against since they started it. I called customer service last night and was told that my past plan was a "grandfathered" plan and there was no way I could be switched back. Here's my question, I have been a customer for over 20 years (previously with Cingular before merge.) I've had this particular plan for well over 12 years and never went over any of my monthly minutes\data. Do they record these calls? It's one thing to be bullied or pushed by an overzealous salesperson but I'm a Financial Tupe A individual, those people never work on me. I was lied to and AT&T needs to do more than say sorry!
