I recently added a line for my daughter. I went into the AT&T store by my house to get a phone and add a line. I stated to the sales person that I had fulfilled my contract and would like to sign a new 2yr contract and get a free phone. I was told I was getting the free phone but there was no need to sign a new contract. I was also given a free LG Tablet. When I received my bill I saw that I was leasing the phone and would be paying $450 for the phone and the LG tablet cost me close to $60 to set up and I will be paying approximatly to $15 a month for that service. The sales person did not tell me any of this and I even questioned the receipt and was told I would not be charged for the phone. When I called customer service I was told because I didn't notice this within 15 days there was noting I could do. To top that off the changes in my service kicked me off my direct billing and now I'm being harrased by AT&T to pay my bill which is 10 days late.
