In December, there was a promo for upgrading a line to a device through the next and receiving a tablet for $.99. I called in this past Monday (02/02/2015) to ask to have the activation fee for the tablet waived as a courtesy since I am obviously not going anywhere. She acknowledged that I have been with at&t for 10 years but she would not be waiving the charge. She said she was sorry I wasn't verbally told about it but she was not going to waive it. I am so beyond upset. After all these years, this is what I get?! It's "only" $40 but that is enough to make me conclude my obligations and move on. There are carriers all over the place working to lure away customers and AT&T could care less. I can't talk to anyone about it so I am left with leaving my disdain on your Facebook page and in this forum.
