My phone was cut off by AT&T wireles today, my bill for the month of January is $157, the data usage was charged $80 which is surcharge after surchage quite few times in one month. I called last sat (1/31), my December bill was $133, I talked with the customer service person, she adjusted that bill to my normal contract amount and told me my contract amount will be increased to $85 which will include 3 gigabyte of data and I agreed. I paid the remaining blalance and I asked specifically whether there is any other bill outstanding, I was told no ( keep in mind I was on auto billing so I don't see my bill). Today I talked with two reps (one claimed to be a supervisor who did not speak clear English) at AT&T to adjust the jan bill from $157 to $85, they refuse to do so and want to charge me extra to get my phone connected. This is a total rip off, I am shocked AT&T is doing something so unethical and take advantage of consumers this way. I need to reach out to att management to resolve this issue. I want a reply from this forum, adjust my jan bill to the $85 orginally agreed by ATT.
