Hello I hope that you are having a great week so far...I have a long and very puzzling experience with AT&T. Here it goes.
I have always paid my debts to AT&T in a timely manner. If ever I was to be late to pay I worked with your Reps who have been the biggest support system ever. With this being said life has been on a downward spiral since November. I had a life threatening event so traumatic that l had to move me, my 11 yr old son and Chocolate lab urgently. We had to relocate for our safety . We moved to a rural town and I did not have access to wifi for a month . In this time I had reduced my phone from unlimited data to a more affordable plan ... Which AT&T had analyzed and switched me to. I went over the data and accrued over 180.00 in overages for a months time. When I found out I called immediately asking for help. I also found out that I have had insurance on my phone for over 3 yrs! I had no idea that I had insurance. I have actually replaced a stolen phone, and 2 broken phones by going into an Apple Store. I paid full amounts for those phones and have never once used the insurance that I had zero idea I even had! I am so utterly confused . I was asking the Reps to refund all of the amounts I've paid to AT&T insurance and they gawked at me , I was disconnected 8 times in one day this past week and now my phone is disconnected. I cannot pay more than 70.00 per month for my phone right now. I have two broken wrists and am going through so much financially and emotionally . Now I feel unsafe because I don't have anyway to pay more . I worked out a payment plan and through AT&T and calked to alter it an agent told me I could extend the payment arrangement if I paid 10.00 over the phone on Feb. 4th, to avoid shut off. The call was recorded and my phone was shut off today! I cannot believe this is happening. The agents I spoke with today said what the other agent had said was mistaken and told me sorry , we can't restore your service ... I think this is the worst and I need help from you , please help me.
