I started my AT&T services on Sep 2012. And for some issue, I didn't get my deposit refund in 2013. On Sep 2014, I started to contact AT&T about my deposit refund. At the very beginning, they created a cases to look into it. 2 weeks later, they said they will mail me a check for the deposit. But the amount was 3.2k ( I paid 4k for the deposit). Then I asked them to look into the amount and few days later they told me that they have mailed another 500 usd check to me. After a long long time wait until late Oct. I still haven't received the check and they asked me to wait. Until the end of Nov, I asked them to electronically refund me back. And the rep said it needed 24~48 hours. I checked my bank account 3 days later and nothing showed up. I then contacted the online about this and the rep said they needed at least until Dec 8th to complete. Today is Dec 9th and I asked the rep online again, and the rep says it is still being solved.
From the first day I contacted AT&T about this issue on Sep 2014 until today , it has been 3 months. I am a college student and I have spent so many time on it. I don't why AT&T kept this for so long. Ironically , I could receive the ads AT&T send to my in my mailbox but not the refund letter. I'm not sure if they ever sent it out to me.
Has anyone encountered this kind of problem?
