Being overcharged on my bill

Hello

I would like assistance with getting a credit on my last bill. On my first line the total came to 124.59. I had upgraded from the $70 plan to the $80 plan and the $80 plan was backdated to the beginning of my billing cycle. I receive a 22% (17.60) employee discount which makes the plan  62.40 plus 40 line charge = 102.40 plus tax but my bill is coming to 124.59. I know there is no way possible taxes are adding up to 22.19 (124.59-102.40). Last month's bill on the $70 plan with tax was 105.51 so adding $10 for a total of 115.51 doesn't warrant 9.08 in tax (124.59-115.51). The chat representative could only explain how to read my bill (common sense) and basically said the 124.59 was correct. When I stated what was previously written above to him/her, she/he disconnected from the chat. Great customer service there AT&T.....Can someone look into this matter please? I do not need anyone to explain to me how to read a bill again though lol. If someone is charged full price ($80) for the whole billing cycle there should no proration charges for the old plan, plain and simple. That's double charging.
