This is in regard of the charges levied on international calls made by me.
I purchased the Iphone 6 on 9/20/2014 and also I have taken the AT&T plan of 1GB with $5 / month to use the international calls.
Michael H is the representative from 3209 N Pleasantburg DR, AT&T store, Greenville, SC 29609 has attended and explained about the plan.
He advised that we can make international calls including India with $5 /month and charges would be 1cent per minute.
Also, I have called customer care on 9/21/2014 to confirm on the international call charges for the $5/month plan. They also confirmed that it is 1cent per minute with $5/month plan.
Today, I got a message from AT&T that, I have used international call worth more than $100. When I called back to AT&T customer again today (around 4pm EST), one of the representative told, the charge for international call would be 32 cents per minute and the charge levied was $133 to my bill.
When I searched the AT&T site, I got to know that, only few countries can avail 1cent per minute and rest of all other countries will be charged 8 cents per minute.
I am really not understood, which one to believe, $133 is too much for my bill and I cannot spend this much to my phone bill.
Herewith, I am giving a complaint on miss communicating the information to the customers and I will not be paying any single penni as this was not co ordinated properly.
I have been used and make international calls with the advise given by AT&T store representative and customer care representative.
