Hi AT&T,
I put in my pre-order iphone 6 plus last Friday Sept. 12th and during the ordering process it reported that my current grandfathered unlimited data plan is no longer compatible with my upgrade and I will have to select a different data plan when I receive and activate the phone.
I left the data plan selection blank and proceeded with the order for a new 2-year contract.
There have been no official announcement from AT&T that the grandfathered ulimited data plan is no longer eligible when upgrading to the new iphone 6 plus with 2 year contract.
Unless I can keep my grandfathered data plan with my iPhone 6 plus upgrade, I want to cancel my pre-order and discontinue my wireless service with AT&T once my 2-year contract expires this year (sometime in September/October).
I have been a loyal customer with AT&T for a very long time pre-dated way back before Cingular took over AT&T's wireless service and then it became a subsidiary of AT&T. I have continued to renew my contract with you every 2-years and stayed with AT&T because of the grandfathered unlimited data plan since the very beginning when the apple iphone was launched.
This is no way to treat a loyal customer of over 10 years.
Regards,
A very unappy customer
