I have always been told that some data is used on wifi sources. However how much data is actually used? I have been connected to home wifi with cellular wifi turned off and have still been using data.
I don't know if anyone has the data tracking app "My Data Manager" but it appears that I have used 250 mb of data on home wifi. I downloaded an application on home wifi and it still used up an enormous amount of data. Does downloading applications on wifi deter the amount of data used up?
Also if anyone appears to have good knowledge on Pokemon Go. I played the game for around 30 minutes and only 5 mb of data was logged(according to my data tracking app). However is this the correct amount? Or is their other functions that I am unaware of going along with pokemon go, that are using up data?
In other words, while the pokemon go application itself only logs around 10 mb of data per hour(according to my data tracking device), is their other functions i'm not aware of that are connected to pokemon Go, that are using more data than just the 10 mb.
