My son to be x-husband refuses to accept responsibility for paying his portion of the cell phone bill for his phone. I am not even sure he even uses the phone, but it says, on my online bill that his portion of the bill for his phone is about $111. My portion is about $60. I made a payment arrangement to pay about $70 on June 6 but forgot to pay it today. I sent back the new phone from AT&T that was sent to me when I thought I lost my phone, but found it. So there should not be a deposit charge for the new phone since I sent it back. The only way I can think if to get him off my account since he refuses to take his phone off my account is to shut down my current account with this phone and start a new account with the same phone I have, and the same phone #. Please help me with this dillemma as I am unemployed since I left him and cannot pay the $111 for his bill also. Its not fair that he's working and can afford to pay his portion and he expects me to pay for his also. I sleepy went through the process of AT&T requesting that he transfer responsibility for his phone bill to him, but he refused to do it. Please help me with this as my cell phone I must keep on as my Mother is sick amd I have to know if she goes to the hospital again.
