Plenti points and unified bill

Has anyone been able to use your plenti points to pay your bill that is unified? The store can't figure it out and they are in the phone with CSR And no one seems to be able to process it. Is my only hope to un-unify and pay the bill, the re-unify?
Any help or suggestions would be awesome.
