Hello everyone. Hoping someone can help me out. My wife and I signed up for AT&T service on 4 lines last week. At the time they ran our credit, the only thing required was 30% down on a new phone which I paid (I brought existing phones to the other 3 lines). AT NO TIME WERE ANY OTHER DEPOSITS MENTIONED.
Left the store, enjoying the new phone and new service. Get an email today my first bill is ready...hit with $445 deposit for service. HOW CAN YOU LET SOMEONE SIGN UP FOR SERVICE AND HIT THEM WITH A DEPOSIT LATER? Isn't this supposed to be disclosed at the time of purchase and activation??
I called a rep but she left me on hold for 15 minutes, I finally had to hang up as I had other things to do. I want to get this waived. Can someone at AT&T help me with this?!
