Can't get bill after changing email

I changed my email address and now I'm getting text messages that AT&T can't email the bill. That it won't go through. I have double checked and there are no typos in the new address in my profile. Has this happened to anyone else? Can an AT&T rep provide any guidance?

I switched from a Comcast account to an iCloud account is that makes a difference.
