This is not a question, but actually a feedback on how horrible att customer service is. I had a $20 per month pay as you go plan for the phone I hardly used. When I asked about a low cost data plans at the local att dealership, the representative said they have a "$25" plan with unlimited text talk and data. When she went through sign up process it ended up being $45. I said I don't want this plan, but she said she cannot cancel it and I have to wait 30 days to switch back to my old prepaid. She said that I only will be paying $45 for a month. Well, a month later bill came, it was $100. Apparently over her inability to provide me with proper customer service, I am stuck with additional $45 switch plan fee, that she didn't bother to mention. I called customer service about my bill and they told me to go to the store I got this plan from, I went to the store, they said that I have to go to the actual att store because they are only authorized retailer. So, I went to the att store and they said to go back to the authorized retailer or to call customer service. I called customer service back and they said that because I agreed to wait for 30 days I am liable for paying $45 switch fee.
So after waiting 30 days to switch plan that I didn't want from the beginning, wasting hours driving around and calling customer service, I still have to pay for mistake of the dealership. Ah, and on top of all of this I could not use any data because it wasn't activated properly. So I was using the same service that I paid $20 for in the past.
I recently dropped Directv due to their bad customer service. No surprise that ATT is part of this bad customer service family.
