I went into an ATT store on 02/18/2014 and inquire about opening services with ATT and porting over numbers from verizon. The clerk says I have to check your credit I say ok. He says your good to go so I get four lines opened and we walk out of the store. Fast forward a few weeks there is a charge on my bill of $420 bucks for a deposit and a fifth line that I did not even open. I call in they say you have already paid $25 on this and I said I have paid nothing on this I didnt know anything about it. The guy says to bad pay or we cut off your service. I need to know how you can walk in and out of store and been back 3 times due to phone issues and no one ever told me a deposit was needed now I am in jeopardy of getting phones cut off. I have paid for my service ATT you can cut off phone for non-payment of deposit when it was never said one was required. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So they can charge you for whaterver they want and you are screwed.
