Lost respect

I've been a "valued" customer for years. They've never had a problem from me on paying my bill. Not once. Until recently. I admit I forgot about a promise to pay, but these people are rigid. They don't consider consequences on a case by case basis. They just assume I didn't want to pay my bill and wanted my service disconnected. Thanks AT&T. I've lost my respect for you and you're commitment to your long time customers.
