A loyal customer for over 10 years and I have been totally ripped off by AT&T. AT&T Next is a SCAM

I am so upset with this company that has done nothing but screw me over again and again.

My husband was up for an upgrade so we went to an AT&T store, and we were told that they no longer offer the 2-year contract, but we could get AT&T Next, which would:

A- allow you to upgrade your phone every year.

B- allow you to pay off your smartphone monthly.

and C- save us money on our plan each month.

So we did the calculation and it turns out over the 30 months, you are paying FULL PRICE for your smartphone instead of the discount offered by the 2 year contract. Except now you are locked into a 2 1/2 year contract. We have saved NO discount on our plan AT ALL. So can someone please explain to me how this is better?!? We end up paying more over the course of time but it's just spread out over time.

Who really cares about upgrading every year? I am fine using the same phone for 2 years.

Also it turns out that you CAN still get the 2-year contract and the person at AT&T totally LIED to us!!

To make matters worse, AT&T was supposed to offer me a $78 credit this month over some charges due to a screw up on THEIR END. Just saw my bill and that credit- NO WHERE to be found.

Plus I lost over 8000 rollover minutes from switching plans, which is also a TOTAL rip off. Those are minutes I PAID FOR and didn't use.

I want OUT of this company. I have been screwed over by them countless times over the years and I'm SO done. But now because my husband was LIED to, we are locked into AT&T until 2018.

You better believe, come 2018, we are leaving this company and going elsewhere.. This is the way you treat your loyal customers. Screw you guys.
