Hello,
I have been a loyal AT&T customer for almost a year now and right now I am having some trouble.
A line was added to my phone bill that does not exist and for months now I have been getting charged for this none existent line. The line was an installment plan and added because my original iPhone broke in my otter box. An AT&T employee talked me into adding this other line and putting insurance on that phone instead of letting me use my one year warranty on my broken iPhone.
He added the new line and then I dropped my phone in water months later. The insurance he added would not take my claim because he put it on a line that does not physically exist and not on my original number. I ended up paying $100 for a new phone. An AT&T online chat representative said she would file a claim for that fake line, refund me my all money and cancel the nonexistent line. Yet, none of this happened.
Can this problem be resolved or will I have to call my credit card provider for fraud? I am getting frustrated because I am getting over charged for a phone I do not need, have, or have the money to pay for. Everyone is talking me in circles at AT&T and no one is doing what is promised.
