nickle and dime

i am abroad  in a third world country where internet is intemittent...how can i contact a att support rep through a chatline.calling is just out of the question as calls drop all the time.

 

lately i got an email from att that my usage abroad is exceeding 100 dollars.

 

first i had downgraded my plan to the lowest possible plan of att as i would not be using it...i did not get the suspend option because according to an att rep i could only suspend once in a year and im out of the country 3 times a year.

 

second ...i had turned on the airplane mode on my phone. however since the plane mode off and on switch is right next to the wifi switch, occassion i inadvertently  flip the airplane mode switch instead of the wifi switch. 

 

third att send me that alert notice but when i reply to the sender it tells me i cant reply to the sender...

 

somehow i feel im stuck between a rock and hard place, its so frustrating that i have been with att for four years and my average monthly payment is in the 150 - 200 dollars a month. and yet there are so many plans out there that offer great incentives to switch. how do i get in touch with a rep through a forum like this.
